Each December Coach Zimmer and The Mike Zimmer Foundation team up with Dick's Sporting goods, Total Transportation, and Chick-Fil-A Apple Valley to host 25 patients from Children's Minnesota Hospital for an unforgettable night. The children are surprised with luxury transportation from the hospital to Dick's Sporting goods, where they are served dinner and given $300.00 gift cards to shop in the store with Coach Zimmer and several Vikings Players. The children are also given goodie bags filled with Vikings gear, footballs provided by DSG and Viking mini helmets for the players to sign.
