The Mike Zimmer Golf Classic is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Guests including former and current Vikings, as well as local celebrities, will team up with partners and sponsors for an enjoyable day of golf.  A full field of 144 golfers compete in various contests such as Hole-in-One, Longest Drive, and Closest-to-the-Pin. The pre-golf celebration features food, a live and silent auction, music and the scholarship check presentations. Our Shop With a Pro Event allows us to give children with terminal illnesses some Christmas cheer where they treated to a fun night out of the hospital which includes a shopping spree, transportation to and from the hospital, and dinner while being accompanied by Vikings players and coach's who are there to assist them while they shop. Every September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, MZF teams up with Children's MN hospital to host children and their families going through life threatening illnesses to a once in a lifetime training camp experience, coaching along the sidelines with Coach Zimmer and even breaking down the huddle! Some attend a game at US Bank Stadium, and MZF also donates toys, games, ipads, video games and other needs to the hospital. Click here to help the cause!
